How Our Network Works
Talk to a local provider
Who Answers Your Request
Orderscontain Walk-In Tubs is a referral desk. After you send a request or call, the next voice you hear is usually an independent provider in our network. That provider runs their own business and does the work themselves or with their own crew.
We do not publish staff profiles. The business that visits your home is the one you should research. Look up its reviews, ask about its license where one is required, and ask for references if you want them.
What the Provider May Ask
Expect short, practical questions:
- What project do you have in mind: tub, conversion or shower?
- Who will use the bathroom, and do they use a cane, walker or chair?
- How big is the space, and what is the floor type?
- Do you have photos or measurements?
- When does your household have a quiet window?
Have rough answers ready. It speeds things up.
Questions Worth Asking
Ask the provider directly:
- Is the quote in writing, and what does it include?
- How long will the bathroom be out of use?
- Who handles permits, if any are needed?
- What happens if the crawl space or slab hides a surprise?
- What warranty comes with the product and the labor?
- Can the work be staged around school runs and shifts?
Typical U.S. costs vary widely by job, so compare more than one written quote.
You Stay in Charge
A referral is not a contract. You can ask for changes, get other quotes or walk away. Insurance questions are a matter for your insurer. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, but coverage is your policy's call.
